Do you think parents should give us the freedom of playing com . Please state the reason.
You see many kids now of days have been playing to much computer games and has been addicted to computer games such as Maple Story, Mouse Hunt and many more.... just because of those addictive computer games, many children has fall into the hands of the computer games and usually forgot to do their homework, thus resulting in deterioration in the grades. In fact there is some thing even worst... You see some kids or teenagers had been playing those computer games day and night that one day they thought their lives were like the game and saw thier parents as "monsters" so they killed their parents without thinking. I felt that we can play a little of computer games in a week. Maybe 2 hours a week. I how readers, such as parents or students who read this might be able to advise others who play too much computer games to stop playing so much.

ReplyDeleteyes, I do agree parents should leat us play MMORPG at LEAST to communicate with other people virtually and having some fun. However, Ivan And Fuman, you already have eough problem with Handphone games addiction so i think you should cool down first then play com.

Everything is good if done within a limit, honestly do not see anything wrong with that. But it will become easier for you to convince your parents to let you do thing that you like if you do things they want you to do (for example get good marks) well!!! I do not see any posts on your short stories. Please update your blog after all it s for you ACE!!!!
ReplyDeleteParents should not stop children from playing com games as we are living in a digital age. However, if children abuse their freedom in the excessive playing of com games at the expense of their studies and homework, then parents have the right to control the time given to them; or even completely ban them from playing com games as it can be very addictive if not destructive. They key word is moderation and discipline.
ReplyDeleteyes they should. as the saying goes "all work and no play makes jack a dull boy" we should be allowed to both play and work. i do not think parents have any rights to stop us from doing the things we want i.e. playing computer games. however, i believe that we should not play excessively or else our grades will drop.
ReplyDeleteOh yes! Our parents should allow us to play computer games but for a reasonable time. Not too long and not too short. Also, our time now is quite tight and I could not find much time to play computer games! Our parents do not allow us to play computer games for too long because they are afraid that we would get con by those ridiculous people around the world if we go to some weird sites!
ReplyDeleteYes, we should be given the freedom to play computer games, but we must show that we are responcible enough. When we are given such a previledge, we should control the time spent on it. NEVER EVER let the computer take over your brain. Always be in control. And frankly speaking, I don't play computer games - not enough time and not much interest, especially on the formal.
